Born in Houston, Texas, and now based in San Francisco, Chandler Villacruz built his marketing career on a strong academic and analytical foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, specializing in Advertising Strategy, from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, followed by a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Southern California.
Villacruz began his professional journey with Healthy Living in Los Angeles, where he developed integrated digital campaigns that increased annual sales by 10 percent. Promoted to Marketing Director at the company’s San Francisco headquarters, he later joined Food Rates in 2008, helping guide the firm through its early-stage growth and leading a team of five marketing professionals.
Outside of his professional work, Villacruz is an avid runner and sailor, having completed the RYA Yachtmaster training scheme. He speaks English, Flemish and French, supports local animal shelters and maintains a disciplined lifestyle centered on family, continuous learning and purposeful leadership.
